Charles I (1625-1649), Truro or Exeter mint, Halfcrown, mm. rose, large equestrian portrait, walking horse, oval garnished shield, 13.69g/3h (Bull 660/14; Besly J14; SCBI Brooker 1027 and Brettell 371, same dies; N 2550; S 3065). Flan split, otherwise extremely fine with an excellent horseman, toned £800-£1,000
