Hand-in-Hand Bank, proof/pull 2 Shillings & 6 Pence, 181-, no signatures or serial numbers, these notes were produced as an emergency during the Napoleonic Wars in the absence of small change. They were issued only until part way through 1813 when laws were enacted prohibiting notes worth less than £1 Sterling. good very fine and rare
