Collection
William Blower enlisted into the 12th Lancers on 6 November 1843, aged 18. He served with the regiment in the Third Kaffir War of 1850-53 (Medal), in the Crimea 1855-56 (Medal with clasp ‘Sebastopol’ and Turkish medal), and in the Indian Mutiny as part of the Saugor Field Division under Major-General Whitlock in Central India (Medal). Sold with copied discharge papers and other research.
