Provenance: Bt. 1982

A. L. Malabre & Co. Ltd, shipping agent and coal contractor, a company formed by Arnold Malabre in 1856 out of the remnants of William Titley & Co., shipping agents, established in 1826. The tallies were used for the loading of coal into the bunkers of coal fired ships.
