Gibraltar, Indenpendent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge checks (2), obv. O.I.D.O.F.U.D.M. / 6241, around an upright hand on which is a heart, rev. SECCION RECREATIVA / .LOGIA “CALPELEAL” around GIBRALTAR, cupro-nickel, 28mm (Lyall 1241); similar, brass, 28mm (Lyall 1242; cf. R.J. Ford 90) [2]. Good fine, the first with some staining on obv. at the edge; the second unofficially holed, rare, only two specimens of the second recorded £80-£100

The Lodge was formed in 1877 and survived until about 1988. The number 6241 was the Lodge number.
