Private George Palfrey enlisted into the 94th Foot on 30 October 1869, and re-engaged on 21 June 1878. He served during the Zulu War of 1879 and also in the Transvaal War of 1880-81. He is believed to have been besieged at Standerton or possibly with Captain E. S. Brook’s Company during the siege at Maraadstadt, 23 December 1880 to 29 April 1881. Sold with some muster details.
