Roman Republican Coinage, Anonymous, Didrachm, Neapolis (?), c. 264-255, diademed head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin around neck and with club over shoulder, rev. she-wolf standing right, head reverted, suckling Romulus and Remus, romano in exergue, 6.76g (Craw. 20/1; HN Italy 287; RSC 8). Numerous scratches and a small edge split, otherwise nearly very fine
