FRANCE, Les Forgerons, 1903 [issued 1904], a bronze plaque by G. Loiseau-Bailly for the SAMF, team of ironworkers in a metal-works at Guérigny hammer links for a chain, rev. two protectively-masked ironworkers working a bellows and a hammer forge, 80 x 50mm, edge stamped 223 (Maier 22; ANS Exh. Cat. 1910, p.309, 23; Coll. R. Marx 112; BDM –; cf. Baldwin 90, 1961). Good very fine, a very detailed and expressive study, rare £200-£260
