21st Lancers, A very fine and rare officer’s lance cap plate 1897-c1899, copper gilt fluted rayed back plate, with ornate silver overlay being the Royal Arms upon lance pennons and short poles, laurel sprays to the lower sides and title scroll at base ‘21st Lancers’, some gilt loss to the back plate, otherwise very good condition £400-500
