Albert Edward Long was born in Lewisham, lived in Catford and enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, 20 October 1915. Sold with copied extract from The Journal, 26 November 1915 in which his death was announced.

Thomas James William Everrett lived in Catford and enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment he suffered a severe wound in action which necessitated the amputation of a leg. He died of his wounds on 11 October 1915, just two hours after returning home to England. He was buried in Ladywell Cemetery. Sold with copied report of his funeral in The Journal, 22 October 1915, together with other copied research.

Harland George Burn lived in Lewisham and enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, 25 September 1915, aged 26 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. He was the son of Henry and Susan Phoebe Burn of 31 Lewisham Hill, Lewisham.

Percy William Sholey was born and lived in Greenwich, Kent and enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he died of wounds on 29 September 1916. Sold with modern photo of his headstone at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen.
