Albert Newman enlisted into the 20th Battalion London Regiment on 24 April 1915 and entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 9 October 1915. He was discharged on 28 June 1916 as being unfit for further service, suffering from Tubercular Peritonitus.

Private James Newman, 1st Battalion Welsh Regiment, enterd the France/Flanders theatre of war on 16 January 1915. Later served with the Somerset Light Infantry.

Private Richard T. Newman, Queen’s Regiment, later served with the Labour Corps. All three with copied m.i.c.; some additional copied papers for ‘A. Newman’. Medals to J and R.T. Newman with damaged card boxes of issue.
