Albert George Leech enlisted in the Royal Flying Corps in February 1915, when mustered as an Air Mechanic 2nd Class (Photographer) and served out in France from June 1915 until February 1916. Advanced to Flight Sergeant in August 1917, he witnessed further active service out in North Russia from September 1918 until June 1919, and was finally discharged at the end of the latter year.
