Sold with a news cutting (post Gulf War 1990-91, when the pound was worth 9.8 French Francs and 2.9 German Marks!) which reports his death in a road accident, aged 37; ‘Mr Swales, whose twin sister Rose has a pub in Wigan, served for several years in the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment’.
