Three: Private A. Whitefield, Royal Army Medical Corps, who died of wounds, Flanders, 5 August 1918

Archibald Whitefield was born in Nemphlar, Lanark and enlisted at Glasgow. As a Private in the R.A.M.C. he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 19 December 1915. Serving with the 14th Field Ambulance R.A.M.C. he died of wounds on 5 August 1918, aged 24 years. He was buried in the Brandhoek New Military Cemetery, Belgium.

The group contained in a 295 x 246mm., wooden glass-fronted case.
