M.S.M. London Gazette 12 July 1920 (South Russia).

Herbert George Goacher, who was born in November 1897, joined the Royal Flying Corps in November 1915.

Disembarked in Russia in July 1919, he served as a Corporal and Fitter (Turner) in the Cuban Group aircraft repair depot in South Russia and, it would appear, with H.Q. Flight, No. 47 Squadron, until returning home in the S.S.
Hanover in March 1920.

Awarded his L.S. & G.C. Medal in August 1934, Goacher was serving as a Warrant Officer on the renewal of hostilities, and was commissioned as a Flying Officer in the Technical Branch in May 1940. And by the time he was placed on the Retired List in December 1945, he had risen to the rank of Squadron Leader; sold with copied research.
