The Flying Training Command recommendation states:
‘1580043 Flight Sergeant Marshall Knealle Leary, R.A.F.V.R., No. 16 E.F.T.S. This airman has proved an efficient and keen flying instructor. He has completed more flying in the last six months than any other instructor at this unit and takes every opportunity of putting in even only a short flight. His work has been of great value to the unit.’
