George Trustrum (1825-78), proprietor of the York Hotel, 3 Parade street, 1864-9, and later described as a ‘gentleman’ living in Brisbane street. His widow Ellen, née Kissack (†August 1883, aged 56) was the proprietor of the Falcon’s Nest, a family boarding house, in 1881. John Park, token manufacturer, 64 Cable street, Liverpool, fl. as such 1864-73 (Hawkins p.585). The hotel was demolished in the 1930s during the redevelopment of Lower Douglas (Alan Kelly, pers. comm.)
