First Surrey Rifles (Camberwell) Officer’s Helmet Plate c. 1878-1901, a very fine example in die stamped blackened metal with burnished highlights and featuring the crown over a scroll ‘1803 & 1859’, a Bath style cross with central bugle horn and ‘1’ within the strings, title circle ‘First Surrey Rifles’, on the bottom arm of the cross a scroll ‘Concordia Victrix’, complete with three loop fasteners, very fine condition £160-220
