Thomas O’May served during the Great War with the 1st Battalion, Scots Guards in the French theatre of war from 7 February 1915. The 1st Battalion served as part of the 2nd Guards Brigade, Guards Division on the Somme, July - November 1916.
O’May was discharged due to leg wounds, 6 October 1917 (entitled to Silver War Badge). He resided at 14 Circus Drive, Dennistown, Glasgow.
