A German Great War Prussian Infantry Officer’s Pickelhaube. A standard all leather pickelhaube, possibly size 55. Good leather body with crazing overall, the front and back peaks are securely attached to the main body with some minor distortion to the rear peak. All of the fittings, which include the back strap, removable spike, circular spike base, front Prussian plate with cut out crown and flat chin scales all match in colour, complete with its correct Reich and national cockades. Light tan leather liner excellent with its original silk interior. The front and back peaks respectively lined in green and red, very good condition £300-£400
