A German Second World War Luftwaffe Officer’s Visor Cap. A nice condition Luftwaffe officer’s visor cap constructed in good quality officers material. High saddle shape, silver waffenfarbe to the crown and to the upper and lower sections of the mohair centre band. A matched set of heavy wire national eagle and cockade with matching standard cap cords. Double trimmed front peak. Light grey leather sweatband with the upper inner crown and side lining all in Luftwaffe blue grey silk. A totally undamaged Luftwaffe centre celluloid lozenge with the wording in silver block ‘VERKAUFS-ABTEILUNG DER LUFTWAFFE, BERLIN SW68’. The hat has its original paper size tag ‘56½’ attached, some reshaping needed, otherwise good condition £300-£400
