A German Great War Parade Bayonet. A highly interesting bayonet with carbine type blade having blued panels on both sides of the blade indicating that it is in memory of WWI. The blueing is good, all etching good to both sides. It is not known whether these were produced within the WWI period or just after, they still have the Wilhelm II scroll fitted to the composition cross hatched grips, the eagle headed pommel has stylised feathers and eyes, one of the ruby eyes is missing. Complete in its original black painted scabbard with bayonet lug fitted, good condition £100-£140
