Henry Campbell is confirmed on the Indian Mutiny medal roll for the 27th Regiment, whose medals were not authorised until June 1868. He was attached to the Bengal Horse Artillery from July 1857, and later transferred to 4/2 Battalion Bengal Horse Artillery on 1 March 1860.
