Approximately 27 Militia Long Service and Good Conduct Medals awarded to the Edinburgh Royal Garrison Artillery Militia.

John Johnstone was born in Edinburgh in 1862 and attested for the Edinburgh Royal Garrison Artillery Militia, part of 3rd Brigade, Scottish Division, Royal Artillery (Militia), on 13 April 1889. He was promoted Corporal on 15 June 1896, and was awarded his Militia Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in September 1907.
