A Group of Bradbury Wilinson Colour Trials

Foreword

The following lots are colour trials printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson and Co during the 1920s. Many represent both sides of a note but some are single fronts or backs. Most are printed in different colours from those eventually chosen for the issued notes; there are some overlaps with other printers and a few examples of unadopted designs. All are uniface on paper and perforated specimen; some have gum residue on the back edge and most have one inked number in the top margin.
