India, GWALIOR, Rupee, in the name of Shah ‘Alam II, mint name off flan, [11]98h, yr 34, axe and mace on reverse, 10.83g/3h (Bhandare, JONS 198, p.38, type 3; cf. Album 25, 1058). Good very fine, rare £60-£80
The mint of this coin is uncertain, but could be Seorha or Sabalgarh. This is possibly an issue of Jean-Baptiste Filose, who captured Sabalgarh for Gwalior in 1810
