An attempt had been made to de-nazify the swastika and the eagle but the swastika still remains. Aluminium hilt fittings. A German Second World War Parade Bayonet. The longer version of the German parade bayonet, excellent blade by Carl Eickhorn. Unusually number issued GGH2 to the cross guard. All plating to the cross guard, hilt and eagle’s head pommel in place, undamaged grips. The leather washer is still in place.
