James I (1603-1625), Third coinage, Half-Laurel, mm. spur rowel [1619-20], iacobvs: d: g: mag: bri: fra: et hib: rex, large draped and laureate bust left, rev. henricvs rosas regina iacobvs, shield of quartered arms over long cross, crown above, 4.48g/10h (SCBI Schneider 89; N 2116; S 2640). Neatly pierced at 12 o’clock for suspension, otherwise about very fine, strong portrait £600-£800
