Jeanette Mary Davies took her studies in nursing at the Fulham Hospital in London from 1933 to 1937 and was registered as SRN No. 87781 on 25 June 1937. Likely employed in civilian nursing during the Second World War, she was appointed to a commission as Lieutenant in Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps on 29 December 1950. Posted to the British Army of the Rhine in 1951 and Japan in late 1952, she was released from the service in September 1955.
