William Terry was born in 1896 and attested for the Royal West Surrey Regiment on 5 September 1914. He served with the 7th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 27 July 1915, and was wounded by gun shot to the right foot on 29 October 1915. Returning home, he transferred to the 25th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, on 1 September 1916, and then to the Army Service Corps on 31 March 1917, seeing further service on garrison duty in Singapore. He was discharged on 22 March 1920.

Frank Miller attested for the Royal West Surrey Regiment and served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from after January 1916.

Sold with a Honourable Discharge Certificate named to ‘234777 Private Richard G. Mann, The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regt.’ dated 25 July 1918.

Richard George Mann enlisted on 3 November 1916 and served with the 2nd Battalion, Royal West Surrey Regiment during the Great War on the Western Front, prior to being discharged, no longer physically fit for service, on 25 July 1918, being awarded a Silver War Badge.
