James Cuff attested for the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and served with the 5th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 13 April 1915. Advanced Company Quartermaster Sergeant, he was awarded his Territorial Efficiency Medal per Army Order 72 of 1925.
