William Harding was the son of Louise Fenhey (formerly Harding) of 117 Rectory Road, Ipswich, Suffolk. He served during the Great War with the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment in the French theatre of War from 27 October 1915. Private Harding died at home on 10 January 1916, and is buried in Ipswich Old Cemetery, Suffolk.
