Ltd case of issue; British Red Cross Society Medal for War Service 1914-18, with integral top riband bar, in card box of issue; France, Third Republic, Medal of Honour, Ministry of the Marine, small gold medal, the reverse officially named ‘Miss Whittington 1908’, gold marks to edge with rosette on riband, in Ch. Ethel Rose Whittington served during the Great War as a Sister at Moray Lodge Hospital, Camden Hill, London, and was decorated by the King at an investiture held at Buckingham Palace on 6 April 1918.
