68th (Durham) Regiment of Foot Other Ranks Shoulder Belt Plate c.1780.
A very scarce rectangular pattern with engraved stippled edge and ‘68’ to the centre, hook and studs to the rear; together with a part relic of a 50th Foot shako plate, service wear to the front of the plate and verdigris to the rear, therefore fair condition (2) £300-£400
