A post-1953 example, the silvered skull complete with gilt metal overlays, the frontal Plate crowned rococo pattern silver beaded cut star with pierced Garter motto in gilt metal ground of blue and red enamel, with St George’s Cross, regulation pattern rose side ornaments and velvet lined chin chain. Standard pattern plume base and holder with red horse hair plume complete large rose finial and quilted lining; together with a pair of Officer’s Breast Plates, standard pattern in white medal trimmed with studded brass, complete with two leather lined straps, leather and fabric lining, very good condition (lot) £1,200-£1,600
