Francis Lisk was born in Glastonbury, Somerset, in 1891. He attested into the 4th (Territorial) Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry, and served during the Great War in Egypt and later on the Western Front with the 5th Battalion, Dorsetshire Regiment. He was disembodied on 17 March 1919.
