A rare 1st Pattern, with scalloped edges to the ‘1939’ date box. Believed to be a Paul Meybauer, Berlin production, but not maker-marked. Large hinge plate and with a round ‘foot’ to the catch. Pin widens in centre, extremely fine £360-£440
