1914-15 Star (4) (No. 4166 Sepoy Santa Singh, 14/Sikhs.; No. 477 Sepoy Sundar Singh, 1/56/Punjabis.; No. 2762 Sepoy Udham Singh, 1/90/Punjabis.; No. 2291 Bearer Fattah, No. 2 Coy. A.B. Corps.); Victory Medal 1914-19 (371 L-Dfdr Ali Naki Shah. 37 Lcrs.) nearly very fine (5) £100-£140

Santa Singh served with the 14th Sikhs, and was killed in action/ died at Gallipoli on 4 June 1915, the date of the Third Battle of Krithia. He is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.

Sundar Singh served with the 66th Punjabis, and was killed in action/ died in Mesopotamia on 26 December 1915. He is commemorated on the Basra Memorial, Iraq.

Udham Singh served with the 90th Punjabis, and was killed in action/ died in Mesopotamia on 7 February 1916. He is commemorated on the Basra Memorial, Iraq.

Fattah served with the Army Bearer Corps, and was killed in action/ died in Gallipoli on 15 June 1915, whilst serving with 108th Field Ambulance. He is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.

Ali Kaki Shah served with the 37th Lancers (Baluch Horse), and was awarded the Indian Army Meritorious Service Medal for his services in Mesopotamia, one of only 12 M.S.M.s awarded to the 37th Lancers, and the only one for Mesopotamia (the 37th Lancers did not serve outside India until being posted to Iraq in 1920).
