John Gledhill was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the West Riding Regiment on 25 June 1918.

James Edgar Boore was born in East Bergholt, Suffolk, and attested for the South Lancashire Regiment. He served with the 11th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 23 March 1918; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, France.
