George Henry Cox was born at St Martin’s, Birmingham, and enlisted into the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. He served with the 2nd Battalion in France from 11 August 1914, and died of wounds on 20 June 1915. He was 29 years old and is buried in Erquinghem-Lys Churchyard Extension.
