A small collection of late 18th-19th century buckles, comprising a pair of English silver buckles by William Eaton or Eley, of arched cushion form with concave detailing and finely reeded borders, with hinged steel prongs and chape, maker’s mark, guarantee mark; a brass pair of arched rectangular form, bicolour and with reeded, bead and faceted decoration, unmarked; and a single silver buckle, French, with scroll and shell decoration, French assay mark, largest diameter 7cm.
