A gold posy ring, early 17th century, of rectangular cross-section and engraved to the inner band in Roman capitals ‘I LIKE +MY+CHOYS’ followed by a stem of foliage, diameter 17mm, width 3mm. £500-£700

This ring was found by a detectorist at Runcton Holme, Norfolk and recorded on the Portable Antiquities database ref: NMS-8D314E.
