Péry et Fils was founded in 1875 when Monsieur Lucien Péry decided to expand and diversify his glove making firm. Early in the 20th century he was joined by his son Albert and together they would go on to forge partnerships with the most prestigious jewellery houses in Paris at the time.
Amongst others, they created jewels for Boucheron, Chaumet, Mauboussin, Templier, Tiffany and later Dior and Graff. Perhaps most famous of all though was their relationship with Van Cleef & Arpels that started in 1925 and strengthened throughout the century. Some of their most significant creations for Van Cleef & Arpels included the ‘Passe-Partout’ collection and the iconic ‘Zip’ necklaces and ‘Ludo’ bracelets.
Although unsigned, this suite is similar to pieces sold by Van Cleef & Arpels during the second half of the 20th century.
