John Whitmore’s original study, Worcestershire Inn Tokens (Malvern, 1988) describes the pieces known to him then; the basic listing was added to within his The Token Collectors Companion (Malvern, 2006). Unlike most other published works on inn tokens, the sizes of the tokens themselves, and their edge types, were not recorded in either publication, so the opportunity has been taken to remedy that within the descriptions of the following lots
