British Iron Age, GALLO-BELGIC, Stater, series E [Ambiani], Gallic War uniface type, shallow dome, rev. stylised horse standing right, charioteer’s arm above, ‘coffee bean’ and ‘thunderbolt’ behind, ‘coffee bean’ and curve of pellets before horse’s face, 5.96g (LH 11, this coin; ABC 16; VA 54-1; S 11). A little striking weakness, otherwise very fine, coppery hoard patina £400-£600
