Pair: Private H. C. Collinson, 16th (County of London) Battalion (Queen’s Westminster Rifles), London Regiment, who was killed in action on the Western Front on 30 November 1917

Harry Charles Collinson was born in West Hackney around 1898, the second son of pianoforte dealer and tuner Frederick Collinson of 73 Foulden Road, Stoke Newington, London. He attested for the 16th Battalion, London Regiment and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 12 October 1917. Serving with them during the Battle of Passchendaele, he was killed in action on 30 November 1917. Aged 19 years, he has no known grave and is commemorated upon the Cambrai Memorial.
