Maggie Winifred Cullen enrolled in Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve and served with them during the Great War in Mesopotamia from mid-1916; she later served in H.M. Hospital Ship Devanah in 1918. She was demobilised in 1919, but remained a member of the Reserve until 1928.
