George William Reynolds attested into the Royal Fusiliers and served in South Africa with the 2nd Battalion during the Boer War (entitled to a Queen’s South Africa Medal with five clasps, a King’s South Africa Medal with the usual two date clasps). He saw further service during the Great War with the 1st Battalion on the Western Front from 9 November 1914.
Sold with copied Medal Index Card confirming the award of the clasp to his 1914 Star.
