Henry J. Nash, a native of Hoxton, London, attested for the Royal Field Artillery and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 19 August 1914. According to his Medal Index Card, Nash initially forfeited his 1914 Star due to ‘Desertion 26 January 1920’. He later applied for his campaign medals 1923-1924.
