Sidney Sole served in the Royal Yacht H.M.Y. Osborne from February 1899 to August 1900, and was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in September 1912.

Henry Horn was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in 1914, and served for the entirety of the Great War in H.M.S. Dido.

William Henry Sharman was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in October 1912, and was wounded in action on 28 October 1914 when H.M.S. Falcon, undertaking an anti-submarine patrol off the Belgian Coast near Ostend, came under sustained accurate fire from the Westende shore battery; she suffered 10 killed, including the Captain, and 16 wounded. He was shore pensioned in November 1919.
